According to a report from TAG24, German police have marked tomorrow’s Europa League match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Inter as a high risk match.

This comes after numerous recent incidents involving Frankfurt’s fans, one of which led to the club receiving a fine of no less than €80,000. The club’s fans are on very thin ice with them being threatened with an away game travel ban if their misbehaviour continues.

The report goes on to state that 2600 Inter fans will be in town tomorrow for the match while some 13,000 Frankfurt fans will travel to Milan for the second leg at San Siro next week.

As things currently stand, Italian police are yet to make any comment on their plans for the return leg although it can be presumed that there will be a very heavy police presence in the city, especially at the ground on match-day given the volume of fans Frankfurt will bring with them.
