Turin based Tuttosport reports on the number of players in danger of being suspended at Inter ahead of their Europa League Last 16 first leg match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
It is not only Lautaro Martinez who is in danger regarding the Europa League, but there are four Nerazzurri players in total who would miss the return leg against Frankfurt in Milano if they receive a warning on Thursday evening.
In addition to the Argentine striker, Ivan Perisic, Kwadwoh Asamoah and Danilo D’Ambrosio are those who are one yellow card away from a suspension.
Because of this, Cedric Soares could have a chance to play, in order to spare one of the full-backs the unfortunate possibility of a warning, explains Tuttosport.
It is of a particular concern as the only other fullback in the squad, Dalbert, is not eligible for European competition due to the restrictions imposed for breaching FFP rules.
Joao Mario and Roberto Gagliardini are also not eligible for European competition and Inter perhaps risk having a very thin squad for the return leg should any of the four players pick up a warning on Thursday evening.
