Turin based newspaper Tuttosport reports that today it will be decided whether Keita Balde travels to Frankfurt with the rest of the squad for their first Europa League round of 16 fixture against the German side.
As of now, it seems more likely that Inter will analyse the Senegalese attacker’s condition, with an eye on the Milan Derby and reverse fixture against Frankfurt, in order to avoid any further risk of injury and have him fully fit and confident in what will be a very crucial week of games.
However, given that Lautaro Martinez has played constantly without rotation of the last couple of weeks, Spalletti may still decide to call him to bench in case of emergency, in which Inter would be left without a striker.
Regardless of what is decided, he will certainly not be starting this game, considering he only returned to group training yesterday and would not be able to play a full game.
