Gabriel Moraes, the agent of Hector Herrera, has hit out at the continued rumours concerning his client agreeing pre-contracts with clubs following recent reports of the Mexican agreeing terms with Atletico Madrid.

“Last year he had signed for Real Madrid, a few months later it was for Inter and then for Roma, then for Tottenham and Arsenal, now it is Atletico Madrid,” Moraes said in an interview with A Bola.

“The truth is that Hector has not signed anything for any club.

Moraes concluded: “He has not yet decided his future and is focused on ending the season at the Porto.”

The 28-year-old is one of the top players with a contract that expires at the end of the current campaign and it remains to be seen what he will decide to do.

This season he has made 42 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored seven goals and tallied two assists in 3541 minutes on the park.
