Inter legend Evaristo Beccalossi has shared his thoughts and feeling on the ongoing saga between the club and now former captain Mauro Icardi.
“I had the opportunity to wear the Inter shirt for a long time, and I know it stays with you all your life,” he told Tiki Taka.
“The club have made certain choices with regard to Icardi and have opened the door for him to return and Mauro has made progress.
“They had a meeting and at the end of the season we will see what happens but for now the respective objectives of Inter and Icardi are too important.
“In my eyes it is important that he comes back well and that he comes back to training.”
He concluded the interview by stressing that Inter cannot get distracted by these recent events.
“Inter need to get to work as they have two important games coming up this week.”
