Sampdoria director Antonio Romei was recently in London to hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur over Joachim Andersen according to a report from Tuttosport.
The Danish centre back has attracted interest from a host of clubs in recent months including Inter but going by this report it would appear as if he is set for a switch to the north London club at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been near ever present this season for La Samp making 28 appearances in which he has helped the Stadio Luigi Ferraris club record 10 clean sheets in the process.
It is currently unclear how strong Inter’s interest in him is given the fact that they have already signed Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin to a pre-contract.
Given Godin’s pending arrival, Andersen would most likely be the fourth option at centre back for the Nerazzurri who already have a solid defensive pairing of Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar should he join.
