Inter and Fiorentina linked Tomas Cuello has shared his hopes of leaving current employers Atletico Tucuman in the next transfer window.

“It has been almost two years since I first talked about moving to Italy, firstly Inter were interested and now Fiorentina are,” he explained in an interview with Fiorentina.it.

“My agent is doing everything possible to try to move me from Tucuman.”

The youngster then went on to reveal that he was close to joining La Viola but Tucuman stopped the move from going ahead.

“In the past negotiations had got to an advanced stage with Fiorentina but everything faded away in just a moment as the club did not let me go despite my agent trying everything possible.

“I hope that in the next transfer window an agreement can be found. I would like to play in Italy and have always worked for it.

“I am a young player and Fiorentina’s interest in me is something beautiful.”
