Lautaro Martinez has more than convinced everyone in recent weeks and is now worth over double what Inter forked out to bring him to the club in the eyes of Tuttosport.
The Argentine striker joined Inter for a sum of €20 million last Summer from boyhood side Racing Club in his native Argentina and he is now valued at around €50 million.
His recent performances will certainly soften the blow when Mauro Icardi seemingly inevitably leaves the club come the end of the season but Inter will still bring in another striker.
As per the Turin based newspaper, Atalanta forward Duvan Zapata tops Inter’s striker shortlist, due to his age, his potential and his current knowledge of Italian football.
The Colombian is not the only player under consideration though. Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku is another player of interest to Inter but he is very expensive.
Edin Dzeko is also a possible signing and would cost no more than €12 million to bring to the club from fellow Serie A outfit Roma. The veteran Bosnian would not be expecting to play every game and his Champions League experience would be handy.
