Inter will spend part of pre-season training this summer in Lugano, Switzerland, as they have done in the past according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The reason behind this is because work is to be begin to be carried out at La Pinetina. None of the pitches will be affected by the work which will see a new building built where players can stay but the initial work will prevent training from taking place. This building is expected to be completed by March or April next year.

Inter’s pre-season will begin in the first week of July and it cannot be excluded that some of the training sessions will be open to the fans to take in.

The Nerazzurri will spend some of pre-season in Asia also and on Wednesday the opponents they will face will be revealed. One game is expected to take place in Nanjing, China, where owners Suning originate from. Another game could take place in Singapore too.
