Marco Borradori, the mayor of Swiss city Lugano has spoken on Inter potentially spending part of their pre-season in the Italian speaking region of the nation.

Earlier today, the Lugano councillor who deals with sport admitted that an agreement still had to be reached with the Nerazzurri, a potential agreement that has been made somewhat complicated by the planned refurbishment of the place Inter want to base themselves.

“It would be a big deal to have Inter here in Lugano in the Summer,” he remarked in an interview with local radio station Radio Ticino.

“We know that the team knows how to mobilise many fans. Of course I would have liked to have Juventus come too but I care about the the city so I know how important it would be to host Inter.”

A potential trip to Lugano aside, Inter have also confirmed that they will spend part of pre-season in Asia.
