In an interview with FCInterNews.it agent Antonio Gialloretto has provided an update on the condition of his client Inter youngster Andrea Adorante.

“He had surgery. All went well. He should be back on the field sometime between July and August,” he began.

“Andrea was the Primavera’s scorer, scoring 12 goals in the league and one in the Youth League. He also went on the bench in the Europa League against Rapid Vienna. He could have came on against the Austrians and if he had not been injured he would probably have made his debut against Eintracht Frankfurt in the next round.”

“Now let’s look ahead. He is a mature, tenacious person, with a desire to do well. He was injured like this because of his stubbornness. These are things that can happen, but he will come back stronger than before.”

He then discussed how his client’s rehabilitation has been going.

“Initially he was feeling a bit down, but now I feel he is more determined than ever. Football is his life. He will do everything to shorten the recovery time, which as I said is expected to finish between July and August.

Adorante has attracted some interest in recent windows and Gialloreto then spoke on this and his future.

“In January we heard of an interest from Udinese and Sampdoria, but they never contacted us, they only followed him and nothing more.

“Andrea certainly has the mentality and characteristics to break through and to take up a professional career. When he is better we will talk to Inter to understand what is the best move for him.

“He could train with the first team and take to the field for a few months with the Primavera to better recover his fitness.

“He could go on loan in Serie B or abroad to find continuity. For me he is ready to play senior football, we will have to discuss it with the Nerazzurri leaders.”
