Keita Balde will be given another chance to prove his qualities tonight as Inter take on his former employers Lazio at San Siro tonight, Gazzetta dello Sport detail.

The Senegalese attacker is in line for his first start since the second leg of the Europa League match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

With Lautaro Martinez and Mauro Icardi both out, Keita Balde will be tasked with leading the line and could be deployed as a false nine, the role he played during a Rome derby a few years ago which led to current Inter and then Roma manager Luciano Spalletti falling in love with him.

Inter have a €34 million option to turn his stay permanent and he has 10 games left to prove his worth and with his redemption seemingly dependent on Champions League qualification, he will no doubt be eager to ensure Inter qualify in order to continue his Inter adventure.

Since his arrival in the Summer from Monaco, the 24-year-old has made 22 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
