According to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, Inter’s goal for the Serie A season is a minimum of 70 points, which means that they are still 13 points away from that target.

But with 4 games at home, that goal is within reach although it wont be easy with Roma, Juventus, Chievo, and Empoli being the teams that Nerazzurri will face next at the San Siro, in that order.

“Inter have only conceded 7 goals at home in the league this season, which is something they have in common with Atletico Madrid. Another thing that links these two clubs is Inter’s ability to clench central defenders from Los Colchoneros.”

“First Joao Miranda, who came from Atletico Madrid and established himself as one of Inter’s best defenders, and now it seems as though Diego Godin will look to do the same thing for next season as the 33 year old Uruguayan will be joining the Nerazzurri during the Summer on a free transfer, earning €6.5 million euros per year.”

“Regardless of what happens in Inter’s last three away games against Frosinone, Udinese, and Napoli, a lot will depend on how well Inter do at home as they face stiff competition for the Champions League places. As pointed out, it takes a lot to score against Inter at home as shown on Sunday when Atalanta were unable to even register a shot on goal.”
