Nainggolan Showing A New Lease Of Life At Inter

Radja Nainggolan showcased a new lease of life in Sunday night’s 3-1 win away to Frosinone in the eyes of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Against the Canarini, Nainggolan looked nothing like the player he was in 2018, a year in which he appeared as a shadow of true self.

He initially struggled at the start of the year but after a few months following Inter’s plan for him, he and the club are now beginning to reap the benefits.

The Milan based newspaper go on to stress that even if Nainggolan has not performed as expected for the whole season, Inter have almost twice as much success with him playing.

In his 30 appearances, Inter have won 60% of games compared to the 15 he’s missed where they have won just 35.7%. Inter average two points per match when he plays but that figure drops to 1.4 when he doesn’t.

The report goes on to state that despite not performing to expectations, he will remain with the club where he is contracted for a further two seasons and will not be sold on this Summer, unlike Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic.
