Sami Khiat, the agent of Ligue 1 side Lille’s Ivorian international winger Nicolas Pepe, has revealed in an exclusive interview with RTL, that his client is speaking to many clubs and therefore he can decide to go where he wants.
“We are talking to many different clubs, we have still not made a final decision. Up until today there is no clear favorite, irrespective of that may be Bayern or any other club.”
“Nicolas can go wherever he wants to in this moment, we are not looking at only one specific league, we have no favorite destination.”
Pepe joined Lille in the summer of 2017, from Angers for a reported transfer fee of €10 million signing a 5 year contract. The winger has since then featured 71 times across all competitions for the club scoring 33 times in the process, 19 of which have come this season.
Pepe has represented the Ivory Coast 10 times and has managed to find the back of the net on three occasions.
