Inter Midfielder Nainggolan: “In Rome They Are More Laid Back While In Milan Things Are More Competitive”

Radja Nainggolan has spoken on the differences between life in Rome and Milan, having spent almost a year living in Milan following his switch to Inter last Summer.

“In Rome, fans are much warmer and more affectionate, especially for the their team. While in Milan it is said that everything revolves more around the business side of things and it is a bit more competitive,” he said in an interview with beIN Sports.

The Belgian then spoke on if he felt there were any differences when it came to going out in public and being spotted by fans.

“In Rome they are more laid back though when I went for a stroll, word got round and one fan came up to me and the another and another…They told me Milan was much quieter but if I take a walk downtown I have the exact same problem.”

This season Nainggolan has made 31 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored five goals and tallied three assists.
