Keita Balde’s future at Inter is in the balance and it would take a significant discount from Monaco in order for him to remain at the Nerazzurri past this season according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
Keita Balde joined Inter on a season long loan in the Summer with Inter having an option to make his stay at the club permanent for €34 million.
Although based on his performances, Inter paying that much for him seems almost unthinkable, the Rome based newspaper details.
If Monaco are willing to reduce his price down to around €20 million then Inter may sign the 24-year-old permanently but if not, Inter could propose a loan extension.
This season the Senegalese international has made 22 appearances in Serie A, where he has scored four goals and provided three assists. He has made a further six appearances across all competitions but has been unable to score any more or provide further assists.
