Radja Nainggolan has reflected on Inter’s 1-1 Derby D’Italia draw with Juventus last night, in which he scored the Nerazzurri’s only goal.

“We could have closed the first half with a bigger score, but we can be satisfied with the performance,” he remarked in an interview with DAZN.

“We used a lot of energy in the first half and in the second half we paid a little for it. Three points would have been important but we have wasted 2-3 chances in the second half, making the last step wrong. Juve remains a great team and we put them in difficulty. It is too bad that we could not win.

“For me the important thing is always the result. It is always a pleasure to scoe but I would have been happier had we won the match.

“When I ball came out to me I thought only about shooting and scoring. Thankfully it went well and it was a nice goal.”
