Roma director Francesco Totti has addressed the recent rumours linking the Giallorossi with a move for manager Antonio Conte at the end of the season.

“In the last few weeks he has been talked about a lot. We have Claudio Ranieri in charge at the moment and we have to respect him until the end of the season then we will all evaluate if he will be the coach or someone else,” he said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

“It seems unfair to talk about other coaches even if Antonio is one of the strongest coaches in Europe, and any team would be crazy not to want him. There are several teams that want him and it is normal that when you can have a coach like him then you can have a winning project.”

Roma aside, Conte has also drawn strong links to Inter whilst a return to former club Juventus for a second stint in charge has also been suggested in the media.
