According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Antonio Conte remains Inter’s number one managerial target but Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino and Juventus’ Max Allegri are also on Inter’s managerial shortlist.

Conte has long been linked with succeeding Spalletti at the helm of the Nerazzurri but his salary could prove to be an obstacle, especially if Inter decide to sack Spalletti and his staff to the tune of approximately €25 million.

Conte is understood to command over €11 million a season but Inter could get creative and meet his demands by making his salary up with a lot of performance based bonuses.

If unable to lure Conte to the San Siro in the event they sack Spalletti, Spurs boss Pochettino could also be an option. The Argentine manager also has a high salary but not as high as Conte’s and he has recently been reportedly approached by Milan.

As for Allegri, his Juventus future is in doubt despite the unprecedented domestic success he has brought them. He is seemingly seeking a meeting with Juventus management to discuss extending his contract but if that fails, the parties could go their separate ways.
