Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Danilo has given the go-ahead to a move to Inter in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

The Brazilian fullback would accept a salary reduction to €3.5 million from €4.5 million per year on a three year deal.

This is a gesture that clearly shows the former Real and Porto player’s desire to wear the Nerazzurri colours. Now the Milanese club is waiting for a response from Manchester City on their offer of €15 million.

As per the report, City value him between €20-25 million, so Inter are expecting to increase their offer but they do not intend to go above those figures. The final decision will come at the end of the season.

This report also confirms that Inter will not redeem Sime Vrsaljko or Cedric Soares and keep Danilo D’Ambrosio, a long time servant of the club who does not complain, even if the the Brazilian from Manchester is coming to take his place in the starting eleven.

Alternatively, there is also Matteo Darmian in the red part of Manchester. The 29-year-old from Torino is desperate to return to Italy, was followed last year by Ausilio and Marotta has courted him for a long time too. Not only this, but he is also considered a more advantageous deal than Danilo in some aspects, due to his versatility and the fact he will cost between €10-12 million.
