Inter could capitalise on the lack of interest in Nicolas Pepe’s services from Spain according to a report from French news outlet L’Equipe.

The Lille winger is of the belief that his characteristics are best suited to Spanish football and would prefer a move to Spain over anywhere else but as of yet no offers have been forthcoming.

Barcelona had shown an initial interest but nothing more whilst neither Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid, the other two clubs who could possibly afford him, are not interested.

Due to this, Inter could swoop in after securing Champions League qualification and could offer him the chance to play continuously at the highest level, which could in turn place a move to Serie A at the top of Pepe’s priorities.

The 23-year-old Ivorian has put his name on the map as he has been one of the best performing players in Ligue 1 this season.

In 36 games across all competitions this term, he has scored an impressive 20 goals and tallied 12 assists.
