Romelu Lukaku to Inter is only possible if Inter make a lot of money through the sale of Mauro Icardi according to a report from La Repubblica.

The Manchester United and Belgian international striker will cost somewhere between €70-80 million and has an annual salary of €9 million net.

As things stand, Lukaku-Inter seems unlikely to take off due to the fact there are no suitable offers on the table for Icardi.

If Inter are unable to get their hands on Lukaku, they already have an alternative lined up in the shape of Edin Dzeko. Signing the Roma striker is far more feasible due to the fact it will reportedly only take between €10-12 million to land him and he has a smaller salary too.

The Rome based newspaper also report that negotiations between Inter and Juventus over a possible exchange deal involving Icardi and Paulo Dybala are still open.

Alternatively, the Bianconeri could offer Joao Cancelo or Gonzalo Higuain plus cash on top to sign the 26-year-old prolific striker.
