Udinese defender Samir is well aware that the Bianconeri will be in for a tough match when they welcome Inter to town this weekend.
“Inter are fighting for Champions League qualification, therefore it will be a similar match to that of the one against Atalanta,” he told TuttoUdinese.it.
“Unfortunately I will not be able to play because I am suspended, but whoever takes to the field in my place will give their everything to help us try to win the game.
He concluded by insisting that the right approach is essential: “We must approach Saturday with the right mindset and the will to win against Inter.”
The Brazilian centre back, who was once upon a time a target of Inter, has made 19 appearances across all competitions this season, a season which he missed a large chunk of due to an ankle injury. In 1649 minutes on the park, the 24-year-old has failed to score but has provided one assist.
