Inter Midfielder Nainggolan: “Dropped Some Important Points, We’ve Got 3 Finals To Play”

Radja Nainggolan has spoken with broadcaster DAZN following Inter’s disappointing goalless draw away to Udinese tonight.

“We dropped some important points this evening, but can make up for it next week against Chievo,” he began.

Asked what would happen if Inter failed to make up for it he responded: “If the worst comes to the worst, we will still be a point ahead of Atalanta in third, but we know it is going to be difficult until the very end of the season. It is still all in our hands and it will be tough in every match.”

The Belgian then reflected further on tonight’s game.

“These are those classic games where the smaller side clam up in defence and then go on the counter-attack. We should’ve finished it off earlier, but lacked some determination in the box, because the situations were there and we had the chances to do better.”

He concluded by speaking on Inter’s remaining three games: “Now we have got three finals to play and we need to qualify for the Champions League.”
