Should Antonio Conte be made Inter manager, the club will try and sign Nicolo Barella and possibly Mateo Kovacic too according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter are already long-term admirers of Cagliari star Barella, who is valued at €45 million. Inter sporting director would be willing to put some cash toward signing him but would make up a lot of the transfer fee through using some players, similarly to how the deals for Milan Skriniar and Radja Nainggolan were completed.

As for Kovacic, the former Inter player is currently on loan at Chelsea but will return to parent club Real Madrid at the end of the season. He will not be staying for long however. As per the report, Ausilio could look to sign him on an initial one year loan deal but in order for this to happen, he would need to sign a new contract with Los Blancos.
