Legendary former Inter goalkeeper Francesco Toldo, spoke to InterTV after being inducted into the Inter Hall Of Fame in an interview that was broadcasted earlier tonight.
“To receive this award on the pitch at San Siro where all the spectators were applauding creates great feelings. It is an honor for me to have been chosen for Inter’s Hall of Fame.”
“We have gone through many battles together with Dejan Stankovic, which were crowned by some incredible wins, to have experienced Giacinto Facchetti as a President, he was the one who welcomed me to Inter, I remember Meazza really well.”
“The crowd really hit me, the affection I received when we all entered the pitch, it is a night that I will carry with me in my heart for all my life. My children were present too and they were happy and enjoying themselves.”
“Inter is for me 20 odd years of my sporting life, I am happy over the recognition as a man and as a player. As a child I thought of winning all the titles but never thought about it afterwards. This is why it was such a joy for me, football keeps you a child despite your advancing age.”
