Inter’s Curva Nord could be closed for the final game of the Serie A campaign against Empoli following further fan trouble during yesterday’s win over Chievo Verona, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Throughout the match, Inter’s ultras sang territorial chants about Neapolitans ahead of the Nerazzurri’s match with Napoli in Naples this weekend.

The songs led to an announcement coming over the speaker system warning the game could be suspended if the chants did not cease.

The rest of the Inter crowd condemned the chants by whistling and booing and whilst it allowed Inter to escape a suspension previously, the Milan based newspaper warn that it may not be enough to avoid it this time.
