Antonio Conte, Lele Oriali, and a transfer window that will change the face of the team, even though Inter have yet to qualify for the Champions League, preparations for next season have started a long time ago, Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The report looks in particular at Inter’s attack, which is likely to lose Mauro Icardi. In the middle of all the talk of him joining Juventus, it appears that Atletico Madrid is now an option as they are ready to say goodbye to Griezmann and also likely to end their relationship with Diego Costa.

According to the report there are three options: Dzeko, Lukaku, and Duvan Zapata.

“The Roma striker is the favorite due to Conte’s approval and the fact that he is quite affordable in comparison to the others. Even though Roma are demanding around €20 million, Inter think they can wrap a deal up for closer to €12 million.”

“After Dzeko, the next option would be Lukaku. The problem with Lukaku is his very high price tag as Manchester United will be looking for no less than €60 million for their Belgian forward. This will be a tough deal as other clubs are also interested and Inter is still trying to save a large percentage of the budget to improve the midfield.”

“Finally, there is Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata, who is valued around €40 million. We must first wait and see what will happen with the coaching position for next season, which will subsequently decide what will happen with Icardi.”
