Inter are interested in adding Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez to their ranks in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish newspaper AS.
The Nerazzurri have already signed Diego Godin from Spanish side Atletico Madrid to improve the defence and are now targeting Nacho with a view to further strengthening the defensive department.
Inter are understood to be interested in signing the 29-year-old due to the versatility that he can offer as he can play in any position in defence.
The report goes on to state that the Nerazzurri are not the only club from Italy to have taken an interest in the four-time Champions League winner.
Both Roma and Napoli have shown an interest in Nacho, whose contract with Los Blancos is due to expire at the end of next season.
This season Nacho has made 29 appearances across all competitions. In 2400 minutes on the park, he has one assist to his name.
