Lille manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed that star man Nicolas Pepe will be leaving the club for pastures new in the upcoming Summer transfer window.
“It is life, football. Nicolas is wanted by all of the biggest clubs in Europe,” he began an interview with French news outelt Canal +.
“When I hugged him after the game, I advised him to take the right time to think things through, as he always has done.
Galtier concluded the interviewed by adding: “He has had a wonderful season and now he must make the best choice for his career.”
The 23-year-old, who is under contract until the end of the 2021/22 season, amassed 23 goals and 12 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions for Le LOSC this season.
As per various reports in recent weeks and months and Galtier’s own admission, there are clubs across Europe keeping tabs on the Ivorian, including Inter, Manchester United and Real Madrid among others.
