Antonio Conte Will Not Back Out Of Agreement With Inter To Take Over Juventus

Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport stresses today that despite Allegri’s departure from Juventus and whispers of a reunion between Conte and Juve, Antonio Conte will not betray his agreement with the Nerazzurri.

According to the report, all that remains before the deal is finalized the is for Conte to put pen to paper. So much work has already been done, even transfer targets have been discussed such as Lukaku, Dzeko and Danilo for example. In short, Antonio Conte to Inter is a done deal.

“The result on Sunday does the not affect the decision of the coach, if anything it can be used as a message from Conte to Zhang, to show the need for investment. However, if the result proves crucial in Champions League qualification, meaning Inter do not qualify and therefore lose out on the €50 million of revenue from TV broadcasting, this will certainly affect the caliber of players that Marotta will be able to buy.”

“Despite exiting the settlement agreement, Inter can still only spend what they make, in accordance with the fundamental principles of Financial Fair Play.”

“It’s clear that a bad result against Empoli would be a step back from last season and a hindrance to the Nerazzurri’s economic strength, which is why there is currently so much tension at Appiano Gentile.”

“Spalletti tried to confront the squad in the gym before session, but it is too late for him. In the game against Chievo, we saw Inter have all of the ball but struggle to create chances. Whereas, against Napoli, in what Spalletti himself said would be a more open game, Inter lacked any sort of personality. This is why Conte will be in charge of Inter next Monday.”
