Report Suggests Antonio Conte To Inter Rumours Have Affected The Squad’s Mentality

Turin based newspaper Tuttosport reports that the Antonio Conte rumors are the cause of Inter’s recent bad performances.

According to the report, in Naples, Luciano Spalletti admitted in public what he has confided with those close to him up until now, and that is that certain rumours have affected the mental state of some of his players.

“Players, according to the coach’s hypothesis, no longer respond to his instructions in the same way that they used to too. This is something that Beppe Marotta has been fearing, hence why in interviews he always come out in support of Spalletti, but it would seem that the inevitable has happened, despite his best efforts.”

“It’s now common knowledge that Conte will sign a four year contract and is the next man responsible in helping Inter take the next leap in terms of quality.”

“The Nerazzurri will be hoping that the teams mentality to Empoli is different than against Napoli since this is now their final chance, but a team fighting against relegation should never be underestimated.”
