Inter officially presents their new home kit for the 2019-20 season, with Alice Regazzoli, Beatrice Merlo, Gloria Marinelli and Marta Pandini, all players of the Nerazzurri’s women’s team.

“Break the lines, create dreams” is the slogan for the new campaign, which fits well with the shirt which breaks the history of vertical lines, with slanted lines surround the Pirelli logo.

As described on the website, the shirt was inspired by the 1989-90 away shirt and it will debut against Empoli at San Siro on May 26th.

“Inter have a strong identity , so the challenge was to change the iconic stripes in a revolutionary way, while also respecting tradition”, explains Pete Hopkins, Nike’s Football Apparel Senior Design Director, through the official website. “We took the iconic diagonal stripes used in the 1989 away shirt, as well as in the old club crest and this lead us to a very classic design, interrupted by the diagonal stripes on the chest.”
