Inter have submitted an official enquiry to Napoli regarding the availability of full back Elseid Hysaj according to a report from Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

The Nerazzurri are understood to be on the lookout for a new right back to make up for them losing Sime Vrsaljko, who will be returning back to Atletico Madrid.

The Croatian’s loan spell at Inter was disrupted and later ended by injury meaning Inter were unwilling to take up their purchase option to sign him despite him putting in some good performances when fit.

Inter have identified Hysaj as a possible addition to their ranks due to the fact his playing time decreased under Carlo Ancelotti in comparison to when he was playing under Maurizio Sarri.

In the 2018/19 season, the Albanian international who has been in Naples since 2015, made 35 appearances across all competitions. In 2707 minutes on the park, the 25-year-old failed to score but did contribute two assists.
