Lille manager Christophe Gaultier has claimed star man Nicolas Pepe is 150% likely to depart the club in the upcoming Summer transfer window.
The Ivorian winger has been one of the revelations of the season across Europe and starred for Lille as they secured a place in next season’s Champions League.
“He will not leave 100% but rather 150%,” Galtier explained in an interview with RMC Sport.
“This is the reality you face when you have a player who has scored 35 goals in 18 months, big clubs arrive with important offers.
“The president has a budget to respect, there is a balance to keep in the locker room in terms of wages and then how can you prevent a player from leaving for a big club in Europe? It is impossible.”
Pepe, who scored 23 goals and tallied 12 assists in the 2018/19 season, has drawn strong links to Inter among a host of other clubs in Europe including Manchester United.
