Andrei Radu has expressed his desire to remain with Genoa for a further season despite continued rumours that an Inter return is on the cards.

The Romanian shot-stopper joined the Rossoblu in the Summer and performed well in his debut campaign at the club.

As part of the deal that sent him to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, Inter retained a buy-back option on him for the Summer of 2018 and 2019.

Various reports have detailed that the buy-back price will rise by a few million if Inter decide against taking up the option in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“A return to Inter? Honestly, I would also like to stay for another year in Genoa, because this year I have grown a lot and I am aware that if I were to stay here again I would improve more again,” he remarked in an interview with Romanian news outlet telekomsport.

In the 2018/19 season, he made 33 appearances across all competitions, in which he kept six clean sheets.
