Inter are interested in signing FC Bayern Munich’s German international central defender Jerome Boateng according to German media outlet Sport1.
According to the report, Boateng and Bayern Munich are destined to part ways this summer with Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund said to be very keen on the player.
However, Boateng’s yearly salary of €12 million net could provide an obstacle for Borussia Dortmund.
Furthermore, according to the report, Serie A rivals Juventus and Inter are also interested in signing the former Manchester City player and both clubs have already contacted the player’s entourage to see if there is an interest to join either of them in Italy.
The FIFA Brazil 2014 World Cup winner, joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2011 from Manchester City for a reported fee of €13,5 million and has since then featured 286 times for the Bavarian giants, scoring 8 goals in the process.
Boateng, who is the younger half-brother of Kevin Prince-Boateng, turns 31 this September, and has a contract with Bayern Munich which expires at the end of June 2021.
