New Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso prefers to sell Italian international winger Federico Chiesa to Inter rather than to bitter rivals Juventus, Italian media outlet La Repubblica report.

According to the report, Fiorentina have set an €80 million price tag on Chiesa but the Bianconeri wantt o include former Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado into the deal so as to lower the cash part of the transfer.

“Juventus, who already have an agreement in place with Federico Chiesa, will now begin to negotiate with Fiorentina who are asking for €80 million, but the Bianconeri are trying to tempt the Viola by inserting Juan Cuadrado into the deal.”

“If Juventus Sporting Director Paratici manages to convince the Colombian international, the deal has avery chance of being concluded.”

“However, it is also true that, due to rivalry between the two clubs, Commisso prefers selling his star man to Inter. Nonetheless, Juventus lead the race to sign the player due to being able to wrap up the deal now as well as having an agreement with the player, but Inter coach Antonio Conte does not feel that he has lost the race to sign Chiesa.”
