Edin Dzeko’s imminent move to Inter appeared to be confirmed by Bosnia coach Robert Prosinecki last night.

Prosinecki was with the 33-year-old for the last two weeks as his side completed their final fixtures of the 2018-19 season, losing to Finland and Italy in Euro 2020 qualifying.

Speaking to CalcioNapoli24, Bosnia’s manager revealed Dzeko had discussed his future and seemed to have very clear ideas.

“He told me he will leave Roma, probably for another Italian team,” Prosinecki said.

Inter are widely expected to sign Dzeko after agreeing a three-year deal worth €4.5 million per season with the striker.

The Nerazzurri have yet to reach an agreement with Roma as the capital club seek the best bargain possible, asking for various young players to be included in the deal.

It appears only a matter of time before Dzeko arrives at Inter, though, having already been courted by the club’s new head coach Antonio Conte when he was in charge of Chelsea in 2018.
