Antonio Conte will be provided with an initial €120 million transfer kitty for the Summer transfer window by Inter’s management according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
A large chunk of this budget will seemingly go toward the signing of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, who, as per many reports, is Conte’s number one transfer target.
United are understood to value him at £90 million (approximately €100 million) but Inter believe the Belgian forward is instead value at around 70 million. Inter and the 26-year-old already have a deal over personal terms.
Inter are also keen on signing Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella. The Nerazzurri’s latest offer consists of €35 million plus €5 million in bonuses for a total value of €40 million. Originally it looked like Inter may have to include young players to get the deal over the line but the club have objected to inserting the players Cagliari requested.
The Nerazzurri have also been tracking Roma striker Edin Dzeko. Roma are asking for a sum between €20-25 million whilst Inter are wanting to pay no more than €10-12 million. Inter could include a young player to bump the overall value of the deal up and that player could be Primavera talent Davide Merola.
Finally, Inter are closing in on the signing of Valentino Lazaro from Hertha Berlin for €20 million.
