Inter & Roma’s Talks For Dzeko Have Stalled

Inter are struggling to secure a deal for Roma striker Edin Dzeko as talks between the clubs have stalled, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Dzeko agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri several weeks ago and is waiting to make the move to Milan, but there is distance between offer and asking price.

Inter are offering €13 million while Roma want €22 million, meaning there is a gap of €9 million which needs to be covered.

Roma no longer have an urgency to sell Dzeko before 30 June given they should raise the money they need for Financial Fair Play by selling Kostas Manolas and other young players.

The Giallroossi have still yet to appoint a new sporting director as well, despite Torino’s Gianluca Petrachi being heavily linked, which has also contributed to the impasse.

“We’ll need to wait a little longer before Inter can announce Dzeko as their new signing,” Gazzetta concluded this morning.
