Inter will finalise a deal to sell defender Zinho Vanheusden to Standard Liege this week, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri want €18-20 million for the 19-year-old whereas the Belgian club are offering €15 million at the moment.
The parties will be in contact again later this week, though, with everything pointing towards a positive conclusion.
Inter will send midfielder Xian Emmers on loan to Standard as part of the deal after the youngster spent the 2018-19 campaign playing for Cremonese in Serie B.
Vanheusden’s departure will move the club closer to securing the €45 million they need in capital gains before 30 June, in order to avoid any risks relating to Financial Fair Play.
The Rome-based paper today reported Genoa and Sassuolo could help Inter reach their target by purchasing other academy players.
Sassuolo have confirmed they are interested in signing a youngster and are linked with Marco Pompetti, Edoardo Vergani and Lorenzo Gavioli.
The Grifone will receive Ionut Radu and Eddie Salcedo on loan from Inter and are expected to sign a couple of others permanently too.
Inter missed out on a third consecutive Campionato Primavera title on Saturday when Armando Madonna’s side lost 1-0 to Atalanta in the league final.
