Former Inter midfielder Andy van der Meyde has backed the club’s pursuit of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
Van der Meyde spent two seasons with the Nerazzurri and today confirmed he will have Lukaku as a guest on a TV show he hosts in Belgium.
After revealing the news on Instagram with a selfie together, the 39-year-old responded to a supporter saying they hoped Inter could sign Lukaku.
Van der Meyde’s comment simply read: “Let’s hope so!”
