Inter could face competition from Chelsea in their bid to resign midfielder Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid, according to Marca.
Kovacic spent the 2018-19 season on loan with the Blues and made 51 appearances in all competitions, helping Maurizio Sarri’s side qualify for the Champions League and win the Europa League.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen to sign the Croatian on a permanent deal, with Madrid asking for €55 million.
Inter would prefer to sign Kovacic on loan as they prepare to make their big investment in midfield on Nicolò Barella.
Marca also linked the Nerazzurri with a move for Nacho Fernandez, reporting they had called the centre-back to register an interest.
Nacho has not made a decision regarding his future but is expected to leave in search of further game-time.
The 29-year-old made 30 appearances in all competitions for Madrid last season, providing in an assist during a 4-1 win over Real Valladolid on 10 March.
