Inter have made an offer to Ligue 1 outfit Lille worth €90 million for Ivorian international winger Nicolas Pepe, French media outlet France Football reports.
According to the report, the Nerazzurri have decided to go all in for the striker to fend off competition from mainly Atletico Madrid who see Pepe as the ideal replacement for parting French international attacker Antoine Griezmann.
The Nerazzurri initially made an offer around €60 million but have now raised that sum by a third to €90 million, including bonuses and other easily attained add-ons, according to France Football.
The Ivorian winger has been linked with Inter for quite some time, after a stellar season with Lille where he scored 23 goals and made 12 assists in 41 appearances, spread across all competitions.
No Italian media outlets have reported this as of yet and no confirmation has arrived from anyone at Inter either so it remains to be seen how credible this actually is.
