Inter linked Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic, has been signed on a permanent basis by Chelsea, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
The Croatian international midfielder Mateo Kovacic, has been linked with a move to Inter this summer, some reports suggesting he would be the Nerazzurri’s replacement should they cash in on Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
However, that will not happen now as Chelsea have decided to activate the option they had in the loan deal with Real Madrid for the former Inter player.
#Kovacic will stay at @ChelseaFC: agreement with @realmadrid for a permanent deal, €50M (bonus included) @SkySport @SkySportsPL @SkySportsNews
