With Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta confirming that both Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan are not considered as part of the Inter project, Calcio e Finanza have looked at how Inter’s finances could be affected by their respective sales.

Using the transfer data provided by the CIES footballing observatory, Calcio e Finanza have highlighted that if Inter are able to sell the duo for the price CIES have given them (Icardi €67 million, Nainggolan €16.5 million), they will pocket just shy of €85 million.

The Nerazzurri will also save a massive €17.5 million in gross wages if they are to get the pair’s salaries of their books over the course of the ongoing Summer transfer window.

Inter would be making a net capital gain of approximately €56 million with the sales of Icardi and Nainggolan.

Calcio e Finanza do however warn that Marotta’s public announcement that the pair are no longer in the club’s plans could lead to their values depreciating thus meaning Inter may not be able to get the near €85 million.
