Mediaset Premium journalist and transfer market guru Nicolo Ceccarini has revealed that Juventus are interested in Inter striker Mauro Icardi.

“I know that Juventus like Icardi. It is not a secret and Juventus must consider that a move for him could become a possibility in the last days of the transfer market, if Icardi were to still be at Inter,” he told numero-diez.com.

“At that point they could obviously present Inter with an offer but it all depends on how the transfer market evolves.”

Ceccarini then spoke on Inter’s transfer market on the incoming front.

“When it comes to Romelu Lukaku, I believe that Inter have made some important steps forward and that there in an agreement in principle regarding personal terms.

“Inter’s plan is to try to sign him on a two year loan deal with a redemption obligation attached. Juventus have made an enquiry but if Lukaku is to leave Manchester United, it will be to go to Inter.”

He concluded: “Next week, Nicolo Barella will join Inter.”
