Juventus continue to remain interested in signing Inter striker Mauro Icardi according to a report from Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri have already been in contact with Icardi’s wife, and agent, Wanda Icardi with regard to a possible transfer to the Allianz Stadium.
A swap deal that would see Paulo Dybala head in the opposite direction to Inter has been mooted in the media in recent months but the Turin based news outlet have now suggested the possibility of Gonzalo Higuain being used in such a deal, especially if Inter struggle to secure the signing of Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku.
Inter chief executivue Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta yesterday confirmed that Icardi is now no longer considered as part of the Inter project thus meaning Inter are actively looking to move him on but it is unclear if they are desperate enough to move him on that they would sanction the transfer of Icardi to their arch-rivals.
Napoli and Atletico Madrid have both also shown an interest in signing the 26-year-old, who is under contract with Inter for a further two seasons.
